Calibration Day

I went to my office yesterday and on my way I saw an A4 paper posted at various part of the corridor showing big text of

INDEPENDENCE DAY CALIBRATION.

Huh??!....at first i just read the poster and wondered if there is some calibration workshop done by independence day company. That did not really bothers me, as i was too preoccupied with things that I have to attend at my office.

During the day, I went the corridor for several time and I can't help but notice there were pakistanian people gathering at the university great hall. It turned out that yesterday there was this gathering by the pakistanis living at birmingham to celebrate their country's independence day.

At that time it strucked me that actually the poster should be

INDEPENDECE DAY CELEBRATION

hahaha....no wonder i was perplexed with the sign.

Meeting

Hari Khamis pukul 10.00 pagi ataupun 11.00 pagi biasanya dah dijadualkan sebagai waktu weekly meeting dengan supervisor (sv).

kalau ada benda yang nak dibincangkan, ada result of my research, maka meeting tu tak menggerunkan. tapi kalau apa pun x de, sometime due to lack of work, most of the time surfing the internet, maka waktu 10.00 pagi tu adalah waktu yang amat digeruni.

Tapi harini okay jek. we talked about how i should proceed with the mold casting and his stressing the need for me to write, and the need to keep a constant working time of at least 40 hours per week. The thing is my time mostly went for 'other' stuff and not to the advancement of my thesis.

Writing.Got to do it. maybe by doing it in point form will ease the process.
