Pahat dan tukul

Oleh kerana dah ada yg suruh saya update dlm blog ni maka ni la update terbaru.

Macam2 terjadi dan tidak terjadi, tapi yang paling mendesak fikiran saya sekarang ni adalah sets of goals that my supervisor had set me up until next year. Tak boleh la nak main2 sangat hehe.

Salah satu deliverables yang saya terpaksa penuhi adalah tuk memastikan experimental rig saya are up to standard. Now this experimental rig has been problematic from the beginning. It was made without any mathematical bearing, much of it are done from trial and error. I've had some not soo good experience trying to rectify the problems. Tapi nak settlekan dalam masa sebulan ni memang tak tau la boleh ke tak.

On another note, puasa di sini agak mencabar jugak. Masa berpuasa lebih daripada 12 jam sehari, dulu masa baru start puasa adalah dalam 18 jam,tapi pasal lepas sahur tidur maka takde la terasa sangat. Harini buka puasa dalam pukul 7.55 ptg. Not too bad I'd say.

Menu berbuka setakat ni pelbagai. Daripada roti telur sampaila nasi beriani. Meggi telur pun ada gak sekali banyak kala hahahaha. Dah lama tak masak kari so mungkin esok lusa masak la kot.

Sekarang ni dah nak masuk ke autumn, jadinya cuaca makin sejuk dari hari ke hari. Hari ni top temperature is around 18 degree celcius. Memang terasa the chillness laa...

Ingat lepas raya nak berjalan jauh skit dari UK ni, tapi nampaknya terpaksala tangguh sehinggah that experimental rig is okay. I'm thinking of going to Andalusia at Spain, tapi mungkin pi east coast of UK je la huhu...

Arena-san, ni dah update dah hahaha.

donkan

Dalam bahasa Jepun ada satu perkataan , 鈍感 (donkan).
Maksud dalam BI = thickheadedness.
kalau dalam BM pula = Tidak peka.

ini lebih kepada perasaan. Peka atau tidak kita kepada perubahan emosi, minda orang lain.

Contohnya, kalau ada kawan baik sendiri mula selalu bersama dengan kawan pempuan yang lain dan kalau berjalan dalam satu group of friends, asyik berdua jek. Selalu tinggal di belakang ambik gambar guna dslr masing2.
Mereka hidup dalam lingkungan dunia sendiri.
Kalau dalam mathematics, they have their own arbitrarily defined domain with specific parameters.

If you failed to realise that they a couple, that their Facebook or Frenster status should be redefined as ' in a relationship' rather than 'single', congratulation.

You are officially a DONKAN person.

Ya, aku seorang yang donkan. Hint macam2 diorang paparkan tapi aku masih x boleh nak connect the pieces together. Betul terasa pelik dengan diorang, tapi malas nak sibuk2. apa kelas jaga tepi kain orang heh.

Sampai nak diberitahu face to face baru aku perasan.hahaha.
Apapun. Moga berbahagia untuk kawan aku 2 orang tu. Moga kekal hingga ke anak cucu.

Weekends

What do you really do in weekends?

After a long time of activity packed weekends, now that I've nothing planned for this weekend, I just don't know what to do. It's boring doing something on your own if it was filled with friends.
But I guess a time to myself is good sometime.

Tapi apa pun majlis ilmu malam esok insya Allah pi gak. tu la tempat boleh berjumpa kawan2 di sini dan juga makan masakan Melayu hehe :P

Sejuk

takdelah sampai ke tulang sum sum, tapi sejuk jugaklah.
walaupun tak sampai ke tahap sebagaimana di Sapporo, Hokkaido.
Masih tetap sejuk.

Sayangnya takde salji yang turun menemani kesejukan ni, kalau tidak boleh la buat ice man.
atau baling bebola salji ke orang lain,
atau main snowboard sampai patah lengan lagi hahaha.

i miss playing snowboard. the feel of cold air passing through me during the descent is unforgettable. hmm...pi scotland pun ok gak ni.

Calibration Day

I went to my office yesterday and on my way I saw an A4 paper posted at various part of the corridor showing big text of

INDEPENDENCE DAY CALIBRATION.

Huh??!....at first i just read the poster and wondered if there is some calibration workshop done by independence day company. That did not really bothers me, as i was too preoccupied with things that I have to attend at my office.

During the day, I went the corridor for several time and I can't help but notice there were pakistanian people gathering at the university great hall. It turned out that yesterday there was this gathering by the pakistanis living at birmingham to celebrate their country's independence day.

At that time it strucked me that actually the poster should be

INDEPENDECE DAY CELEBRATION

hahaha....no wonder i was perplexed with the sign.
hehe :P

Dekat sini

Cuaca adalah satu perkara yang amat selalu berubah.
Tapi biasanya mendung dan sejuk. Hari ni alhamdulillah cuaca cerah dan walaupun agak dingin ( dlm 18 darjah celcius), cahaya matahari tu dah cukup menceriakan.

Semalam, hujan gerimis jugak la, tapi bila petang cuaca dah cukup okay untuk saya berjogging. Dah lama sangat tak berjogging, dan hasilnya, amat meletihkan walaupun cuma berjogging setakat 20 minit lebih kurang (itu pun sekejap berlari, banyak berjalan)

Okay, need to keep up with the jogging. Lack of exercise has dull my mind and body a lot I guess.

Hari ni cuba balik software Labview selepas sebulan lebih tinggalkan gitu jek. Rasa2nya saya dah buang masa banyak kerana tak cuba belajar software ni betul2...Kena kejar balik ni.
