I’ve been wondering la kan…sesapa yang minat tengok cerita jepun kat TV ataupun VCD tu, assuming that you don’t really know Japanese, what is the most striking word that you could catch? i.e. how do you know what you are hearing is in Japanese and not in Korean or in Cantonese? Is it the intonation? Or the words or just plain gut feeling?ke tengok kimura takuya dah tau japanese, tengok andy lau tau dah cantonese/mandarin, tgk choi min su tau dah korean?

Dulu masa mula2 belajar bahasa Jepun, saya paling tak bagus dalam kelas hearing. Where you must sit and hear conversation between two people discussing everything under the sun, well not really la kan? First lesson involves just simple ohayo gozaimasu, konnichiwa, kombanwa, o namae wa nandeska? Anata wa kirei des ne..anata ga suki des :P and so on…

Skang ni dah okay dah, because I’ve been to Japan and lived there. Still I don’t really like hearing class.

Dulu tv Singapore ada siarkan rancangan berita dan drama bahasa jepun. What my father catches was just …shita,…shita…where in fact it was owarimashita or sumimashita or kakarimashita.

Interesting to note how human catches word etc.

Alarm alaf baru

Sape ada masaalah bangun pagi?
Atau boleh bangun tapi susah nak bangkit?

Untuk masaalah kedua tuh biasanya disebabkan oleh low blood pressure. I know, I am having the same problem. Lagi2 masa kat jepun dulu, especially time winter. Oh my good the futon has never been soo warm in my entire life hehehe.

Tapi untuk masaalah pertama, other than usual alarm clock what do you do/use to get up on time?

Ada yang gunakan self-body alarm. Contohnya baca al-fatihah etc and then cakap ke diri sendiri: ‘ aku nak bangun pukul 6 pagi’. Insyaallah bangun le pukul 6 pagi.

Tapi camne nak buat kalau tak boleh jalan gak cara2 diatas? Kenot gou bak kata my kelate friend.

We place this nano clock in your body(!) so that at designated time it will proceed to kacau you until you are awake. The best place I think would be in your ears.

Yes you heard/read me right. Dalam lubang telinga tuh.

Say you set this nano clock at 6 a.m, so come the time this nano clock will either ring ( I doubt this can be done though), or it will grow some kind of tentacle and start rubbing the inner part of you ear. I bet you will not be able to sleep once the nano alarm kick off.

I know for sure guys… I had the experience.

Dua tiga malam yang lepas, adalah makhluk allah ni yang cukup baik hati masuk dalam telinga aku dan start berguling2 dalam tuh. Tickling sensation won’t give justice to what I experienced. I just woke wide open and start korek telinga furiously. Mind you, it was soo effective that I had no time to feel ngantuk lagi dah. From sleep to full conciousness. Very effective.

I think it was a stray ant looking for some treasure, but the ant got into wrong cave…:P

And don’t worry, I think I already had that ant out of my ear.

Tanjung Piai

Minggu lepas kena jadi driver paksarela utk bawak adik dan kawan2 dia jalan2 sekitar johor. Well not really the whole johor state because we were just covering several places. Danga Bay, JB, Taman Negara Pulau Kukup, Taman Negara Tanjung Piai, the most southern place at Asia continent and Kota Tinggi waterfall.

It was great. I had the much needed break from work stress, tapi penat gak le nak bawak van tua tuh. The girls were having a good time and sweet memories of last weekend. This is to be their one of many reunions for the years to come I hope.

Jauharah (my sister) sure does know how to organize a tour.

Tapi one thing for sure, lain kali kena bawak member lelaki,kalau tak mati kutu gak hahaha :-)

kat tanjung piai pun ada jugak nightwalk and tengok kunang2 tapi kena hadir dlm pkl 8 mlm,after 9pm there weren't many fireflies around.

Overall, quite good a weekend :)

Iro iro 1

Sem lepas punya result baru je dapat isnin nih. Dan alhamdulillah, lulus semua subjek. Both exam based subject’s result was B.

The result was okay but I know I could have done better if I can juggle between my work at office and my study. Last semester was much of a trial-out semester, to see whether I have it in me the ability to do my master program. Nampaknya okay je, jadi saya akan teruskan jugak le sampai ke hujung jalan. Insyaallah bulan 12 tahun 2007, bila saya dah berusia 30 tahun, saya dah ada master in engineering. After that, IR/PE plak kot?
IR Zakzak....gempak sehhh hahahaha

I don’t really aim for straight A’s, I’m content with what I’m doing right now, to learn new things and to try different stuff other than my job.

bila saya tanya 'tell me about yourself' what I want to hear from you is your charachteristics that will make you the perfect candicate for the post. Positive aspect of yourself, and if there is negative ones, how would you overcome that in order to be a better person and better staff.
So kalau cerita saya ni anak sulung dari 5 adik beradik, don't just stop at there, tell the interviewer that by being the eldest means you are no stranger to responsibility and you are able to lead people. Tell them more about being independent type of person by telling them what you did when you were in high school or in Uni.
Jangan pulak cerita saya ada kucing parsi bulu merah jambu. Of course that would be interesting stuff la kan, pink tuh! Tapi mana ada kena mengena dengan kerja yang nak dibuat?

Nothing.

For the record, cerita pasal kucing tu memang saya buat2 je hehehe just to spice up thing.
Tapi still, they don't really answer my question.

Banyak tip2 nak menghadiri interview, kat internet ni melambak. So be prepared.

oh yes, another thing. Be keen, attentive, semangat during the interview, jangan buat tak semangat. That would be a no no thing to do.
